Keedron Bryant, 12, recently drew international attention after a video of his a cappella performance of I Just Wanna Live, recorded in response to the murder of George Floyd, went viral.
The young singer from Jacksonville, Florida, has since appeared on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, Good Morning America, Today and CNN, and signed a record deal with Warner Records. On June 19, marking the anniversary of the emancipation of those enslaved in the United States, Warner Records released I Just Wanna Live as a single, with profits donated to NAACP.
